Thanksgiving Day

Vail & Beaver Creek Ski Day

Thursday, November 23, Lionshead, Vail

After the second consecutive year of delayed openings due to lack of snow, what better way to give thanks to our lifts (finally) spinning than sliding on snow at Vail's second day of the 2017/18 winter season? Opening a week later (and a day earlier!) than anticipated, defying mother nature, the resort's snowmaking alchemists have managed to white-carpet 45 acres on Born Free. Rather ski the Beav'? Just down the road, you'll find 65 acres open on Gold Dust and Hay Meadow.  vail.com, beavercreek.com
