Can't quite decide what to do on Saturday and Sunday? That's alright, we've scoured the valley and found our top five picks to put on this weekend's agenda.
Saturday, March 18
3:30 p.m., Vail Marriott, Lionshead
Always wanted to slide on some South American snow? One of the continent's most recognizable ski destinations -- Ski Portillo in Chile -- will be throwing an après ski soirée and raffling off a trip to the resort as part of the fun. Even if you don't win, sipping a glass of Chilean Malbec slopeside might have you feeling like a winner in no time.
4 p.m., Vail Nordic Center
All ages are welcome to the sixth annual snowshoe shuffle -- although Yaktrax and running shoes are also acceptable modes of transport -- with a 10k, 5k, and 1k kids' race all part of the fun. Snowshoes will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, so arrive early if you need a pair.
7:45 p.m., Dobson Ice Arena
Vail's semi-professional hockey team takes on Aspen in what's sure to be a night of rowdy local fun. The Yeti will only be on their home ice for a few more games, so it might be one of your last chances to catch the action til next year.
8 - 10 p.m., Vail Brewing Company, Eagle-Vail
What's better than local brews? Local laughs -- courtesy of Vail Brewing Company's comedy night. Of course, the brewery's flagship location will be serving up their signature pints all night long to go along with the fun.
Sunday, March 19
7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek
Patti LaBelle will be gracing the Vilar with her presence -- and powerhouse vocals -- for her one and only Colorado tour stop. The Vilar is offering free shuttle service for attendees staying at any Vail hotel, and a deal for guests at the Park Hyatt--a three-night stay includes complimentary concert tickets--who want to make the Beav' their home away from home for the weekend.
