La Sportiva Hill Climb Trail Run

Get your blood pumping with the Vail Rec District's 7.7 mile mountain run, which starts at Vail Village and gains over 2,000 feet in elevation before ending at Mid-Vail. Spectators can get a lift courtesy of free gondola access from 7 to 7:30 a.m. (just make sure to pick up a voucher at race registration the day before) to catch all the racers climb to the finish ($33 for preregistration, $38 week-of registration or $45 on race day). vailrec.com

Community Land Connection Series Hike - Hardscrabble Ranch Tour
