Avanti Park

Vail Mountain’s baby park is conveniently located near the base area for Chair 2 (Avanti Express Lift) and filled with pint-size boxes and beginner rails, making it a ski school staple for protégés of Jake Pates (the valley’s 2018 half-pipe Olympian).

Bwana Park

If you’re ready for a bit more air, head over to Bwana Park, which features a midsize jump line and more-advanced (and larger-scale) rails and boxes to slide on.

Access: Chair 8 (Born Free Express Lift)

Golden Peak

The biggest of all the terrain parks on the mountain, it’s not unusual to see steezed-out skiers and snowboarders flipping out (literally) over the size of Golden Peak’s jump line, and the likes of Olympic gold medalists Jamie Anderson and Chloe Kim sailing through full-size rail features and up and out of the monster half-pipe come March, when the Burton US Open snowboarding championships takes over the park (events.burton.com).

Access: Chair 6 (Riva Bahn Express Lift)
