Man of the Cliff

When an event kicks off with a resounding, "Gentlemen, start your beards!" you know it's not your usual weekend 5K. The valley's ninth annual Man of the Cliff  returns to Avon's Nottingham Park (sadly relocated again from its Red Cliff hometown), for a full weekend of axe throwing, speed chopping, spear tossing, and tug of war between flannel-wearing wannabe lumberjacks, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofits.
