Cover Rock Music Festival

2018 Eagle Flight Days

2018 Eagle Flight Days

June 23, 7:45 a.m., Eagle Town Park, Eagle

Day two of Eagle Flight Days dawns with a Lions Club pancake breakfast, followed by a parade down Broadway (10 a.m.), a push-cart race and chocolate cake bake-off (12 p.m.), a basketball shoot-out (3 p.m.), and live music by local bands Primal J and the Neanderthals (3:30 p.m.), First Chair (6 p.m.), and Y Puro Norte (8:30 p.m.).

La Sportiva Summer Solstice Trail Run

June 23, 8:45 a.m., Creekside Park, Beaver Creek

The Vail Recreation District celebrates the longest day of the year with a trail run up the slopes at Beaver Creek. Choose from a 10k (9 a.m.), 5k (9:15 a.m.), or a kids' fun run (8:45 a.m.). Lunch (and prizes) await finishers at the Beav's Creekside Park ($28 to $38). vailrec.com
