Perfect for the kids (and kids at heart), San Francisco-based Circus Bella brings the excitement of the Big Top to Nottingham Park. Featuring aerialists, acrobats, family foot jugglers, clowns, wire walkers, and more, these performances of “Kaleidoscope” include live music and showcase all that a modern circus can be. Vail Film Festival

Now in its 16th year, the Vail Film Festival has been voted one of the top 10 destination film festivals in the world. Moving from spring to fall, this weekend will focus on films from women filmmakers with a schedule including features, documentaries, and short films (most of which include a Q&A with filmmakers after the viewing), a panel discussion and workshop in addition to an opening and closing night event. Vail Farmers Market Farm-to-Table Dinner Series

Aug 16, 6–8 p.m., East Meadow Drive, Vail

Imagine dining al fresco on the streets of Vail, enjoying a meal crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients grown by Colorado farmers—it’s a tempting offer.
