Blue Sky Cup

Feb. 7, 7:30 a.m., Vail Mountain

In this fundraiser for Rheumatoid Arthritis research, teams of four skiers or more take to the slopes at Vail to ski 40,000+ vertical feet (or more!) in one day. The team that also completes select on-mountain challenges combined with the maximum vertical feet wins the Blue Sky Cup. With a costume requirement and an after party, it’s a ski day that will test your limits for a good cause. $155.


Harry Potter Day

Feb. 7, 5-8 p.m., Vail Public Library, Vail Village

Calling all witches, wizards and muggles – don your best robes and head to the Vail Library for the annual Harry Potter Day celebration. This annual includes, snacks, activities, a costume contest and a movie showing for guests of all ages.


The Doo Wop Project

Feb. 7, 7 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Do you know Doo Wop? Tracing the evolution of Doo Wop from street corner harmonies to the hits of today, the Doo Wop Project transports audiences on a wave of “doo whah diddy diddy” from groups like the Crests, Belmonts and Flamingos through their influence on greats like Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and The Four Seasons all the way to modern musicians like Jason Mraz and Maroon 5. Doo Wop Project brings classic hits from some of the greatest music in American pop and rock history to life on the stage. From $45.




Vail Telemark Workshop

Feb. 8, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Golden Peak, Vail

If you’ve ever thought that regular downhill was missing something…like lunges…then this workshop is for you. Free your mind (and your heel) with Telemark skiing. A combination of Nordic and Alpine skiing, this workshop is for beginners and seasoned Telemarkers alike. $135, $215 including lift ticket.


Women’s “Second Saturday” Free Demo Day

Feb. 8, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Lionshead Village

Meet Outdoor DIVAS at the orange and green tent by the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead to demo their hand-picked selection of women's skis. By swapping out skis for each run, you can walk away knowing which skis you love from brands like Elan, Kastle, Scott, Blizzard, Volkl, Black Crows, Dynastar and more. RSVPs encouraged.


10th Mountain Division

Feb. 8, doors open at 9:30 p.m., show at 10 p.m., Agave, Avon

Boulder-based 10th Mountain Division is a bluegrass-based and improvisation-driven band that’s pushing the idea of “mountain sound.” Don’t miss their exploratory take on Americana as they draw from T influences from classic Southern Rock, progressive bluegrass and the adventurous spirit of 60s psychedelic music.




Brian Regan

Feb. 9, 7 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Considered one of the most respected comedians in the country, Brian Regan has enjoyed a 30+ year career thrilling audiences in theaters and at home with his Netflix specials. He’s performed at Carnegie Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheater and he’s one of the rare regulars on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that appears on two segments: a performance segment and a segment on the couch to chat with Jimmy.
