Family Friendly Options

If your Halloween (and the surrounding days) are decided by little ones, here are some kid-friendly events.

Alpine Arts Center Pumpkin Carving

Saturday, Oct 25

Alpine Arts Center is hosting an all-ages, drop-in pumpkin carving/painting event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants need to bring their own pumpkins; carving tools are covered by the $20 drop-in fee. Paint and other supplies may be extra. Grab a beer or glass of wine from the ART BAR during “witching hour."

Minturn’s Halloween Celebration

Thursday, Oct 30

Minturn's annual Halloween event is a chance for the kiddies to trick-or-treat around town the evening before the actual night. You’ll find trick-or-treating and photo ops at Minturn Town Hall from 5 to 7 p.m. or until the candy runs out.

Minturn Saloon’s Halloween Party

Thursday, Oct 30

This year, the Minturn Saloon's Halloween celebration features music by the Johnny Schleper Review along with a costume contest, “wicked bites and potent potions.” Doors open at 8:30; music from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Tickets are $35 pre-sale; $40 at the door.

Agave's Halloween Costume Party

Friday, Oct 31

Agave in Avon hosts Bonfire Dub on Halloween night, with tickets available for $16.95, and the music set to go from 9 p.m. until closing time. Plus, there’s a costume contest at 11 p.m. with a $500 cash prize!
