Falcons fans and New Englanders might not find much to agree upon when it comes to Super Bowl Sunday's outcome, but when it comes to requirements for watching the big game -- drinks, food, and a big screen -- they might just find some common ground. While our sister publication Houstonia has got you covered for all things Super Bowl Sunday if you're lucky enough to be in Houston for the event, there are plenty of places in the Vail Valley where you can feel like you're on the 50 yard line of Sunday's showdown.

Loaded Joe's, Avon

Loaded Joe's will be busting out its big screen projector for Sunday's game, with extended happy hour ($3 beers, $4 shots) served 'til 8 p.m. Along with their regular menu, the kitchen will be dishing up happy-hour-priced nachos all evening. 970-748-1480, loadedjoes.com

The Remedy, Vail Village

If you haven't experienced the 165-inch wall of televisions dominating the Four Seasons' bar and lounge area, Super Bowl Sunday might be the perfect time to get acquainted. If you can score a seat (reservations are a must), local beers, gourmet pizzas, and wings will all be on Sunday's menu, along with a medley of signature cocktails, wine, and entrees available from the space's upscale bar menu -- this is the Four Seasons, after all. 970-477-8600, fourseasons.com

Bol, Solaris, Vail Village

Whether you score one of the Solaris eatery's ultra chic bowling lanes -- leather couches and table service are all part of the experience -- or belly up to the bar, massive televisions put Sunday's game front and center. Reservations are a must for the bowling alley and dining area, with bar seating available for different price points, as well. 970-476-5300, bolvail.com

Vail Brewing Company, Eagle-Vail & Vail Village

The brewery's flagship location in Eagle-Vail and its tasting room in Vail Village will both be streaming Sunday's showdown between the Pats and Falcons on their uber-sized projector screens, and pouring their locally-crafted libations all evening. Guests at the Vail Village location are welcome to bring their own food for Sunday's event, while the Eagle-Vail spot's neighboring food truck, Rocky Mountain Taco, will be serving all game long.  10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company, Vail Village

While the local distillery's tasting room on Bridge Street might not have the biggest screen (55 inches) for Sunday's game, it compensates with live music starting at 3 p.m. until kick off, drink specials, and a pot-luck party (bring a dish and receive 10 percent off your total tab) are pretty enticing in their own right. Sunday's festivities are being billed as a Patriots party (Falcon fans, you've been warned!), but we're willing to bet that a full bar of locally produced spirits will make for the perfect celebratory sippers -- or a delicious means to drown your sorrows regardless of who you think deserves the trophy. 970-524-2580, 10thwhiskey.com
