Friday, January 13

Betty Ford Gardens Self-Guided Snow-Shoe Tours

10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Vail Village

The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens' daily snowshoe tours offer an at-your-own-pace exploration of the Village's snowbound secret garden, with all the necessary equipment free of charge (although donations are always appreciated). Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum History Walks

1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum, Vail Village

Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum hosts weekly casual and informative walks through Vail Village that offer a bit of history and insight to the area. A learning experience for both tourists and locals, tours are $5 to $7, and begin at the museum in the Transportation Center. skimuseum.net

Happy Hour Yoga

4:30 p.m., Mountain Soul Yoga, 56 Edwards Village Blvd., Edwards

Mountain Soul Yoga offers special prices for non-members for Friday evening "happy hour" classes, which pair a relaxing session with post-flow brews from Oskar Blues Brewery. Vail Yeti Hockey

7:4 5p.m., Dobson Ice Arena, Vail Village

Vail's home town hockey team competes both Friday and Saturday nights this weekend at Dobson Ice Arena against other Mountain West rivals (the Arizona Outlaws, and the Pikes Peak Vigilantes). Games, $5-$10, are a rite of passage for locals and visitors alike. vailyetihockey.com  

 

 The Floozies with Buku

Brothers turned electronic-funk duo, The Floozies hit the stage at Agave for Saturday's headlining show at Avon's hippest nightclub. Opener Buku will kick things off at 10 p.m. $20. agaveavon.com

 Grant Farm at the Altitude Bar and Grill

After spectating a second night of Vail Yeti Hockey, make your way over to the Altitude Bar and Grill in the Evergreen Lodge for Boulder-based bluegrass band Grant Farm. $8. monkeyshark.org

Peter Cetera at The Vilar Performing Arts Center
