Presidents' Day weekend is upon us, which means crowds have descended upon Vail and Beaver Creek, and both resorts have plenty of activities on their schedules for kids and adults looking to make the most of out of their long weekend. In honor of the occasion, today (Feb 17) Beaver Creek is kicking off PrezFest, a celebratory tribute to America's commanders-in-chief with days of parades, past-president sightings, and pie eating contests for the whole family. If your little one harbors White House ambitions, nominate your kid to be elected Beaver Creek president for a day. Win or lose, we all get an extra day off from school or work, which is cause for celebration, Vail Valley-style.
Friday, February 17
Comedy Night at Vail Brewing Company
8 p.m., Vail Brewing Company, Eagle-Vail
Vail Brewing Company's stand-up comedy night should be a good laugh for anyone that attends ... if the jokes fall flat, the tap lineup of heady local beers won't disappoint.

The T&J Band performs at Bonfire Brewing on Friday night.

7 - 10 p.m., Bonfire Brewing Taproom, Eagle
World pop finds its rhythm with the acoustic guitar and vocal backing of the T&J Band at Bonfire Brewing's Taproom in Eagle. Of course, Bonfire's flight of beers make for a fun Friday itinerary in their own right.
Saturday, February 18
8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Vail Mountain, Vail Village
It's hard to not feel charitable after reading the lineup for this year's Ski for MS fundraiser: laps on the mountain, a scavenger hunt, amateur ski race, and memorial ski down. The only thing better is that all proceeds benefit the national nonprofit Can Do Multiple Sclerosis, which provides support and services to MS patients and their families. An after party with live music, awards, and a raffle will be held at the Sebastian's Ariel Ballroom.
Sunday, February 19
Vail Mountain Winter Uphill Race and Hike
7 a.m., Vail Mountain, Lionshead
Whether you're looking to start your day with a heart-pounding scramble, or vying to race for a top spot in the field, the Vail Mountain Winter Uphill race is a good place to log some serious vertical feet for the day -- 2,300 feet over 2.5 miles to be exact. Register in advance online, or in Lionshead on race day.

Vocalosity comes to the Vilar on Sunday evening.

9 a.m., Vail Pass
If you're looking to log some uphill miles outside the hustle and bustle of a race setting on Vail Mountain, meet up with Weston Snowboards on Vail Pass for a day of splitboarding in the White River National Forest. It's important to note that this isn't a guided tour -- the meet-up is aimed at getting fellow splitboarders together who already have the appropriate gear, and required skills, to enjoy a day safely in the backcountry.
Vocalosity: The Aca-Perfect Concert Experience
7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek
The Vilar hosts Vocalosity, an acapella group that takes its cues from tenth century Gregorian chants to barber shop-style quartet arrangements. The singers cover today's chart-topping hits with their own distinct spin, leaving the whole family humming.
