Vail-Beaver Creek Weekend Agenda: June 17-18, 2017
We get it — last weekend's GoPro Mountain Games were way too much fun (if there is such a thing), and nothing could possibly top it. But, did you know that the first ever Vail Craft Beer Classic comes to town this weekend and there's a smorgasbord of options on the agenda for Father's Day? Time to grab those party pants again — it's officially summertime in the Vail Valley.

Outdoor fun and lots of beer are on the agenda for the first-ever Vail Craft Beer Classic.

Saturday, June 17
The Vail Craft Beer Classic
8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Vail Village
The second day of Vail's first-ever ode to beer kicks off with "Pretty Fly for a Pint Guy" (a fly fisherman's dream brew pairing) at 8 a.m., before culminating with the event's "Toast of Vail," ($60 for General Admission, or $85 for VIP early access) the biggest tasting of the weekend with over 300 beers on tap. Bluegrass bands Gypsy Moon and Head for the Hills are set to close out Saturday evening's revelries at Solaris.
Yoga in the Park
9 a.m., Nottingham Park Pavilion Performance Terrace, Avon
Outdoor yoga (for free!) is the perfect way to start your Saturday morning, especially when accompanied by Beaver Creek views. The Town of Avon's weekly Saturday morning yoga sessions flow for an hour, and attendees are advised to bring a yoga mat, water, and sunscreen. avon.org
Sunday, June 18
Vail Craft Beer Classic
10 a.m., Vail Village
The final day of the Vail Craft Beer Classic concludes with flows and food; if you're looking to detox and unwind from the weekend, check out the event's "Nama'stay for a Beer" (Ford Park, $30), which gives participants a yoga and beer pairing. If Dad's in town, head to the festival's "Father's Day Beerunch" (Swiss Chalet at The Sonnenalp; $22 for kids 14 and under, $44 for adults), which pairs beer, bacon, and Bloody Marys for the morning.

Father's Day deals abound at the Four Seasons this Sunday.
Father's Day at The Four Seasons
The Four Seasons Resort and Residences, Vail Village
Whether it's the Four Seasons' signature "Munchie Brunchie" complete with a bottomless Bloody Mary bar at The Remedy, spa specials like the "Cut and a Cold One" (a barber and beer pairing) and the "Brew and Renew Massage" (a massage that incorporates warmed Crazy Mountain cans to ease muscle tension), or the luxury hotel's steakhouse special (a 20 ounce ribeye from Colorado's own 7x Ranch) at Flame, Dad's sure to find a taste or two that makes his day special. fourseasons.com
Vail Farmers' Market and Art Show
10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Vail Village
It's finally here! Vail's signature market featuring artisans and farmers from around the valley and state kicks of this Sunday, officially welcoming the Sunday of summer to Vail Village. Local restaurants and food vendors will be on hand dishing up grab-and-go meals if the free samples aren't enough, with live jazz on the Solaris lawn an afternoon favorite. vailfarmersmarket.com
