E.T. The Extra Terrestrial in Concert: Film with Live Score
7:30 p.m., Gerald R. Ford Ampitheater, Vail
Bravo! Vail's presentation of the 1980's classic "E.T." comes with the Philadelphia Orchestra's accompaniment providing the film's live score, as the signature music lineup continues throughout the summer. Pack your picnic basket, this won't be one to miss.
La Sportiva Vail Hill Climb Trail Run
7 a.m., Vail Village
La Sportiva's summer running series keeps cruising through the valley, this time with the race series' signature hill climb event, where runners hoof it up Vail Mountain's 7.7 mile course. If you'd rather take in the event as opposed to run it, spectators get free access to Vail Village's Gondola One.
Sunday, July 9
Outdoor Yoga at The Arrabelle
9 a.m., Arrabelle Square, Lionshead Village
Women's outdoor retailer Outdoor Divas hosts a Sunday morning yoga session outside Lionshead Village's Arrabelle on Sunday, with the class free to all who show up for the morning flow.
Munchie Brunchie
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Remedy, Four Seasons Resorts and Residences, Vail Village
Did someone say bottomless Bloody Mary bar? The Four Seasons' bar space opens up for brunch (and the aforementioned liquid buffet) every Saturday and Sunday, although on Sundays the neighboring Vail Farmers' Market and Art Show makes it the perfect venue to kick off a Sunday Funday.
