Construction Zone Story Time

10 a.m., The Bookworm of Edwards, The Riverwalk, Edwards

If Saturday mornings revolve around the kiddies, (and you need a thematic escape from I-70's plethora of Work Zone slowdowns) plan your morning around the Bookworm of Edwards' construction-themed story time, complete with family-friendly games and crafts. The event is free, with coffee and tea available for purchase from the Bookworm's lovely little cafe.

Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater's 30th Anniversary Concert

6:30 p.m., Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Vail Village

Vail's iconic outdoor concert venue celebrates three decades with an epic weekend lineup of concerts. Dead Man Winter kicks off the celebration on Saturday evening, which is headed by Trampled by Turtles founder Dave Simonett. 90s rock band Third Eye Blind takes the stage afterwards, with classic hits that will have the whole crowd singing along. $35 - $95.

Herradura Tequila Tasting & Dinner with Chef Richard Sandoval

6 p.m., Maya, The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon

Celebrity chef Richard Sandoval pairs multiple courses with Herradura tequila for a night sipping and snacking on some of the valley's most inspired Mexican cuisine. $85, reservations required.
