Artists' Holiday Market
Friday, December 1, 12 to 6 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday, December 2 & 3, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Alpine Arts Center, The Riverwalk, Edwards
With the holiday season officially upon us, local artisans will converge on the valley's go-to art space with everything from hand-knit goods to custom photography, and an assortment of one-of-a-kind, hand-made gifts. Warren Miller's "Line of Descent"

It's not ski season until Warren Miller's latest ski film makes its Vail Valley debut. Two screenings on Friday and one Saturday evening, showcasing some of the world's most enviable destinations for snow sliding, hopefully will coax Mother Nature and Old Man Winter to return to our corner of high country, and make an extended stay. vvf.org
Birds of Prey

The Winter Olympics may be in PyeongChang, but this weekend, Olympians who will medal there converge on Beaver Creek for a weekend of FIS racing. Super G kicks off the event on Friday, followed by Downhill (Saturday) and Giant Slalom (Sunday). Stick around for the afterparty, where a special Friday Afternoon Club with live music will conclude Friday's races, and a "Beers of Prey" après ski event will close out Saturday's competition. vvf.org
