With the Town of Vail and Vail Resorts crafting plans to cut their carbon footprints, one Colorado company is helping to drive that change—at least when it comes to getting to and from the airport in Denver. Teslyne is the newest private car service to hit the market in the Centennial State, with a fleet made up entirely of emissions-free Tesla Model X SUVs (with "Back to the Future" style falcon wing doors!), offering a luxurious alternative to the gas-guzzling conventional mountain shuttle at a competitive price. How competitive? A trip from Denver International Airport to Vail starts at $188 for the entire car, which seats up to five passengers (with a carload of friends, that works out to just $37.60 per rider; a trip between DIA and Beaver Creek is $206 for the car). Vail Resorts may have set 2030 as the year it will be emissions-free, but with the arrival of Teslyne, a preview of that ambitious future is already here. teslyne.com
