March Madness Exhibition

March 2, 5:30 p.m., Vail Valley Art Guild, Avon

Local sculptors, painters, and photographers showcase their art and welcome a new guild president (painter Andrew Pranger), with funds raised from any work purchased benefiting the Vail Valley Art Guild.

Siro-A the Techno Circus

March 2, 6:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Billed as "Japan's answer to the Blue Man Group," the team from Sendai brings a mind-blowing array of DJs, visual projections and optical illusions to the main stage at Beaver Creek (Adults $58 / Child $38 / Family 4-Pack $144)

Fondue Night

March 2, 7 p.m., Prosit, Avon

Cheese lovers, rejoice! Avon's Bavarian bierhaus will be pairing imported German suds with gourmet melted cheese, and acoustic music by Nik & Nat.

Lost Boys Featuring MIMOSA & BOGL

March 2, 9:30 p.m., Agave Nightclub, Avon

Electronic tunes make their way from the Front Range to the dance floor at Avon's spot for late-night ($15-$20).

Live Music with the Evolution

March 2, 9 p.m., Brush Creek Saloon, Eagle

The valley's own Evolution brings their brand of funk, rock, and reggae to Eagle's Brush Creek Saloon, with the party rocking til the wee hours of the morning. 970-328-5279


Superhero Ski Day

March 3, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Vail Mountain

Roundup River Ranch campers are kids who fight serious illnesses with superhuman strength, and on Saturday, they're coming to Vail Mountain for Superhero Ski Day, with money raised from the event benefitting Roundup River Ranch. Attendees can wear their superhero costumes, and join in on games (with prizes) and an après party for the cause.

World Telemark Day

March 3, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Beaver Creek Mountain

Free your mind, and your heels, or at least give tele a try at World Telemark Day, an international celebration of the free-heeled ski turn. Tele-partakers can rent discounted equipment from the Beaver Creek Nordic Center (970-754-5313), before meeting up at the Beav's Centennial Lift at 9 a.m. for group tele-turns. The day ends with an après party (2:30 to 5 p.m.) at C-Bar.


March 3, 6 to 10 p.m., Vail Brewing Company, Eagle-Vail

Denver-based Jubilingo brings its version of soul, funk, gospel and jazz to VBC's Eagle-Vail brewpub.

The Ben Miller Band

March 3, 9:30 p.m., Agave Nightclub, Avon

Calling all bluegrass lovers, the Ben Miller Band makes a stop on its tour at Agave Nightclub on Saturday night.


Beaver Creek Running Series

March 4, 10 a.m., McCoy Park Nordic Center, Beaver Creek

Still haven't gotten your aerobic fix for the weekend? Take your mark at the Beav's final winter running race, with 5k and 10k distances on the course.
