Darth Crooks Bluegrass Trio

March 23, 7 to 10 p.m., Ein Prosit, Avon

Avon's spot for German beer and pretzels welcomes bluegrass rockers Darth Crooks to serenade the masses Friday night.

SHEL at the Vilar

March 23, 7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Colorado-based sister act SHEL brings its brand of folk rock to Beaver Creek's main stage for one night ($25).

Infinity tour feat. Govinda, Kaminanda, Templo

March 23, 9:30 p.m., Agave Nightclub, Avon

Electronic beats hit the dance floor at the valley's go-to spot for late night music and dancing ($15-$18).

The world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer is back for another year, with all funds raised from teams participating in the event and individual donors benefitting the Shaw Cancer Center. Wear your best Pink outfit and ski for a good cause!

Musical Thrones: A Parody of Ice and Fire

March 24, 7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

HBO's hit show "Game of Thrones" gets a musical makeover, as composers and writers Jon and Al Kaplan bring their satirical synopsis of the show's 7 seasons to the main stage at Beaver Creek ($15 for students, $38 for adults).

Comedy Night at the Bowlmor

March 24, 8:15 p.m., The Back Bowl, Eagle

San Francisco International Comedy Competition finalist A.J. Finney brings the laughs to Eagle's bowling alley, with Denver's Comedy Works regular Zach Reinert set to open the show ($19 in advance, $22 day of).

James Brown Lockdown with DJ Weez

March 24, 9 p.m., Moe's Original BBQ, Lionshead Village, Vail

Boogie down with late-night tunes at Moe's Lionshead location.


John Hiatt & The Goners featuring Sonny Landreth

March 25, 7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

John Hiatt & The Goners celebrate 30 years since releasing their hit album "Slow Turnin'" with a Sunday evening show at the Vilar.

Roosevelt Collier feat. Members of Genetics & Dopapod

March 25, 9 p.m., Shakedown Bar, Vail Village

Soul and funk rocker Roosevelt Collier hits the stage at Vail Village's go-to venue for live music, where he'll be joined by fellow music makers Genetics and Dopapod.
