Vail-Beaver Creek Weekend Agenda: September 14-16

The season might be slowing down, but one more weekend of Oktoberfest—plus, live music and a one-day yoga festival in Vail—keeps us moving and grooving through the month of September.

Matt Cox at Vail Brewing Company

September 14, 5 p.m., Solaris, Vail Village

Award-winning country and Americana musician Matt Cox drops by Vail Brewing Company's Vail Village taproom for one night only. vailbrewingco.com

Broke Down Rodeo at Bonfire Brewing

September 14, 7 p.m., Bonfire Brewing, Eagle

La Sportiva Meadowgold 5k & 10k

September 15, 10 a.m., Meadow Mountain, Minturn

Oktoberfest

September 15, 12 to 10 p.m., Vail Village

Day two of the valley's final Oktoberfest celebration features appearances by Helmut Fricker and the Rhinelanders Band, a bratwurst eating contest, and plenty of biergarden fun to go around. vailoktoberfest.com

Valley Tastings Fundraiser

September 15, 4 to 7 p.m., Lundgren Amphitheater, Gypsum

The Eagle River Youth Coalition's biggest fundraiser of the year features plenty of samples from local restaurants (like Kirby Cosmo's barbecue and bites from Village Bagel) with proceeds going to the local nonprofit ($25 per person,$40 per couple, $60 per family of four, $150 for a group of ten). eventbrite.com

Lolë White Tour

September 16, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Vail Athletic Fields, Vail

Vail Village's newest retailer, Lolë, hosts a meditation and yoga session as part of their White Tour, which has brought together more than 65,000 yogis around the country since its inception three years ago ($23 per person). eventbrite.com

Oktoberfest

The stein lifting and keg bowling competitions go down the final day of Oktoberfest celebrations, before the festival comes to a close for the season. vailoktoberfest.com
