Septemberfest

September 7, 3:30 to 10 p.m., Eagle

Eagle's two-day music festival is one last chance to toast the summer's waning weeks, with beer from local brewery 7 Hermits and live music from Karl Denson's Tiny Universe set to rock the town Friday night. The best part? A portion of the proceeds raised go to the Eagle River Fire Protection District's "Fill the Boot" campaign that benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association (two-day tickets available for $15-$35 per person). septemberfesteagle.com

Zoppé Italian Family Circus

September 7, 4 & 7 p.m., Nottingham Park, Avon

Mountain Rats Long Distance Races & Septemberfest 5k Run

The town of Eagle's Septemberfest continues, with 5k, marathon, heavy half marathon, and 50k trail races set for Saturday morning's lineup. Evans Chaffee Kickball Classic

September 8, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Eagle-Vail fields, Eagle-Vail

The Vail Valley Foundation's advertises Saturday morning's kickball classic as a chance to "kick for a cause," with proceeds from the tournament benefitting local nonprofit Youth Power 365. 8th Annual Wheels and Wings Festival
