Warren Miller's Face of Winter

November 24, 6 & 9 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

The VPAC hosts a double header screening of "Face of Winter" from Warren Miller Entertainment, with everyone from moguls legend Johnny Moseley to cross country skiing's Olympic gold medalist from PyeongChang Jessie Diggins coming together in the ski film company's latest and greatest for a cinematic tribute to Warren Miller ($20 per person). vilarpac.org 

Vail Pass Full Moon Skin

November 24, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., Vail Pass

The valley's own snowboard brand Weston Snowboards hosts a backcountry skin (or snowshoe!) up to the radio tower above Black Lakes Cliffs for a backcountry bonfire. Make sure you bring all your gear (beacon, probe, and shovel, along with other emergency equipment) as this is a backcountry hike over unmitigated avalanche terrain. westonbackcountry.com
