10th Mountain Legacy Parade

January 18, 6 to 7 p.m., Vail Village

Skiers dressed in the white uniforms of the 10th Mountain Division lead a torchlight ski down to the base of Gondola One, before a parade of military veterans march up Bridge Street. Fireworks and extended hours of Colorado Ski & Snowboard museum follow the main event.

Classic Albums Live at the Vilar

January 18, 7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Relive the best of the Beatles, as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band stops by the VPAC to serenade the crowd with all the greatest hits from Beatlemania ($45 per person).

Vail Yeti Hockey

January 19, 7:45 p.m., Dobson Ice Arena, Vail

The Colorado Nailers head to Dobson Ice Arena to face off with Vail's semi-professional hockey team, the Vail Yeti, in two nights of action.

Beats Bottles Bōling

January 18, 9:30 p.m. to 12 a.m., Bol, Vail Village

Guests to Bol's Friday night party can indulge in bottle service (starting at $300) to claim a lane and bowl for free, plus dance the night away courtesy of the bowling alley meets fine dining establishment's resident DJ, DJ Stennor.


Vail Nordic 5k Citizens Race

January 19, 12 p.m., Maloit Park, Minturn

Come cheer on Battle Mountain High School's Nordic ski squad before jumping on the course and testing your skills during the 5k citizens race afterwards. Whether you win or lose, Vail Brewing Company will be on hand to reward you with post-race beers and lunch (and prizes for the actual winners) ($25 for preregistration, $35 for registration on race day, $15 for students who preregister, and $25 for students who register on race day).

Bamboo Ski Pole Build & Whiskey Night

January 19, 1 to 8:15 p.m., 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Co., Vail Village

Colorado's own Grass Sticks will be in-house at 10th Mountain Whiskey's Vail Village tasting room for a build-your-own-ski-pole event, paired with drinks specials from the local distillery.

Through the Lens: "Abandoned" Encore

January 19, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum, Vail Village

If you've ever wondered about the history of Colorado's ghost ski towns, check out the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum's screening of "Abandoned," which feature a band of backcountry skiers who seek out forgotten slopes around the state and ski away with quite a story.

Vail Yeti Hockey

January 19, 7:45 p.m., Dobson Ice Arena, Vail

The Vail Yeti hockey team takes on the Colorado Nailers in night two of on-ice action.

Nappy Roots at Agave

January 19, 9:30 p.m., Agave Nightclub, Avon

2002's best-selling hip-hop group brings their signature southern swagger to the stage at Avon's go-to place for late-night music ($15 to $18).


Howie Mandel at the Vilar

January 20, 7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

The Vilar's Winter Comedy Series welcomes comedian, television personality, and (currently) the host of NBC's "Deal or No Deal" for one night and one night only (tickets starting at $88).
