Sunsquabi Friday Night

March 15, 9:30 p.m., Agave Nightclub, Avon

Staples on the electric music festival scene, Denver-based Sunsquabi spends a night at Avon's premier stage for late-night music ($26-$31).


Pink Vail

March 16, 8:30 a.m., Vail Mountain

The world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer returns to Vail Mountain, with a costume contest (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), a celebration of life ski down (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), and a spirit rally and awards ceremony (3:30 p.m.) all part of the event—plus, live music all day, and a chance to get a picture of you and your team dressed in pink at the Pink Vail Headquarters at the base of Vail Mountain at Golden Peak (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). All proceeds from registration and team and individual fundraising benefit the Shaw Cancer Center in Edwards.

Ballet Hispanico

March 16, 7 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

If you're missing summer's annual Vail Dance festival, head to the Vilar, where one of the summer season's premier acts returns in honor of VPAC's Winter Dance Series ($58 for adults, $25 for students).


St. Patrick's Day Party at Maya

March 17, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

Chef Richard Sandoval's eatery in the Westin is pulling out all the stops on a St. Patty's Day brunch, complete with Guinness stew, and corned beef and hash, plus festive drink specials like Shamrock martinis, Irish coffee, and pints of green beer ($28.50 per adult for the brunch buffet).

St. Patrick's Day All Day Party

March 17, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Ein Prosit, Avon

Avon's go-to place for German bier is trying out the luck of the Irish on its menu, with drink specials on Guinness and Irish whiskey, plus traditional fare like corned beef and cabbage. Don't miss the live music at 4 p.m.

B-The Underwater Bubble Show

March 17, 6:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

If you've got little ones, head to the Vilar for a fantasy, theater adventure featuring twists and turns and lots (and lots) of bubbles ($45 for adults, $30 for kids).
