Girl PowHER Snowshoe Outing

March 29, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Eagle Valley Middle School, Eagle

Local nonprofit Girl PowHER's morning snowshoe retreat takes place at Sylvan Lake State Park, and includes snowshoes, lunch, and snacks for participants ($10 per person).

Lindsey Vonn Foundation Big Hair Prom Affair

March 29, 7 to 11 p.m., The Four Seasons, Vail Village

Time to bust out your 80's-style prom dress (or tux) in honor of Lindsey Vonn's annual fundraiser for her foundation, which aims to power the next generation of female athletes. This year's "Big Hair Prom Affair" features a silent auction, small plates and drinks, and a chance to party with LV herself on the dance floor with the sounds of the Jordan Kahn Orchestra band (tickets starting at $275 per person).

Kansas: Point of Know Return Tour

March 29, 7:30 p.m., Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Iconic classic rockers Kansas head to Beaver Creek for one night and one night only ($95 per person).

Soul Sacrifice: A Santana Tribute

March 29, 10 p.m., Vail Ale House, West Vail 

West Vail's main stage channels the spirit of Santana, with a a tribute band to the pioneer of rock and Latin American jazz on Friday night.


2019 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Colorado

March 30, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nottingham Lake, Avon

Eagle County Sheriff James Van Beek and his office (along with other local law enforcement agencies) are taking a "Polar Plunge" into Nottingham Lake, and hoping to raise $500 for Special Olympics Colorado, and anyone can take the plunge with them for the cause.

An Evening at the 10th: A Fundraiser at the Museum

March 30, 5:30 to 9 p.m., Colorado Snowsports Museum, Vail Village

The Colorado Snowsports Museum and hosts a Saturday night fundraiser—and a preview of its new exhibit, "100 Years of Ski Fashion," with never before seen outfits of former Vail socialite Anne Bonfoey Taylor. The party boards Gondola One atop Bridge Street at 6:15 for a 6:30 dinner at mountaintop eatery The 10th ($150 per person).

First Responders Charity Hockey Game

March 30, 7 to 9 p.m., Dobson Ice Arena, Vail

Vail Ski Patrol faces off with Eagle County's First Responders in a charity hockey game at Dobson Ice Arena. A $10 donation, which benefits the Eagle County Emergency Responders Fund and Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation, gets you in the door—and beers from Vail Brewing Company.


Painting a Vision of Mt. Mangart 

March 31, 3 to 6 p.m., Raitman Art Gallery, Vail Village

Local extreme skier and historian Chris Anthony joins Colorado artist David Gonzalez for a live painting of the subject of his newest documentary, Mt. Mangart, which hosted an international ski race on its slopes with 10th Mountain Division soldiers at the close of World War II.
