2019 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Colorado

Eagle County Sheriff James Van Beek and his office (along with other local law enforcement agencies) are taking a "Polar Plunge" into Nottingham Lake, and hoping to raise $500 for Special Olympics Colorado, and anyone can take the plunge with them for the cause. specialolympicsco.org

An Evening at the 10th: A Fundraiser at the Museum

March 30, 5:30 to 9 p.m., Colorado Snowsports Museum, Vail Village

The Colorado Snowsports Museum and hosts a Saturday night fundraiser—and a preview of its new exhibit, "100 Years of Ski Fashion," with never before seen outfits of former Vail socialite Anne Bonfoey Taylor. First Responders Charity Hockey Game

Painting a Vision of Mt. Mangart

Local extreme skier and historian Chris Anthony joins Colorado artist David Gonzalez for a live painting of the subject of his newest documentary, Mt. Mangart, which hosted an international ski race on its slopes with 10th Mountain Division soldiers at the close of World War II. raitmanart.com
