Vail Full Moon Skin Series

April 19, 6 p.m., Cripple Creek Backcountry, Lionshead Village

One last chance to head uphill as opposed to down on Vail Mountain, as Cripple Creek Backcountry's full moon skins take a participants up the hill from the base of Lionshead Village. Of course, you can cruise back down by the full moon's light whenever you choose, and head to the backcountry shop's in-house bar for a pint after you earn your turns. cripplecreekbc.com

Vail Brewing Company's Birthday Party

April 19, 7 to 10 p.m., Vail Brewing Company, Eagle-Vail

Vail Brewing Company is celebrating 4 years since it first started pouring (and brewing) pints at its Eagle-Vail flagship location on Highway 6, and its throwing a birthday party to mark the occasion. Local bluegrass band The Runaway Grooms will be providing the entertainment, with an ice cream sundae bar and (of course) beer all part of the fun. Bonfire Dub at Shakedown

Avon Egg Hunt

April 20, 10 a.m., Nottingham Park, Avon

Grab your Easter baskets and head to the town of Avon's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Nottingham Park and Pavilion, with games and kids' activities, a balloon artist, and a visit from the Easter Bunny all part of the day's fun. The town's hiding 10,000 eggs for the occasion, so even the littlest egg hunters will have a chance to walk away with a prize. avon.org

Eagle Easter Egg Hunt

April 20, 10 to 11 a.m., Eagle Town Park, Eagle

Easter egg hunters under the age of 10 are invited to join Eagle's Easter Egg Hunt. Be sure to stick around for the Eggernaut Competition, though, when egg-seekers design and create an "egg protection contraption" that will be put to the test with a 50-foot drop off the Greater Eagle Fire Department's ladder truck. townofeagle.org

Closing Party at the King's Club

April 20, 8 to 11 p.m., Sonnenalp Hotel, Vail Village

Local musicians Kevin Danzig and Friends mark the end of Vail Mountain's season with a show at the lounge at Vail Village's Sonnenalp Hotel. sonnenalp.com

Rally Round the Family at Vail Ale House

April 20, 9:30 p.m., Vail Ale House, West Vail 

Rage Against the Machine cover band Rally Round the Family heads to West Vail's main stage for a Saturday night show ($10 per person).

Easter Brunch at Maya

April 21, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon

Maya is hosting a special Easter Brunch with its signature Latin-infused flair (think brisket enchiladas), with a visit from the East Bunny an Easter egg hunt kicking off at 11 a.m. ($52 per adult, $18 per child). westinriverfront.com

Closing Day at Vail Mountain

One last chance to say goodbye to Vail Mountain—at least for the 2018/19 season—and all its epic snow before lifts stop spinning at 4 p.m. vail.com

Easter Brunch at the Sebastian

April 21, 10 a.m., The Sebastian, Vail Village

The Sebastian's in-house eatery Leonora is dishing up a decadent Easter Brunch, with everything from breakfast favorites like eggs Benedict and build-your-own omelettes to short rib hash and a prime rib carving station on the buffet menu. Easter Celebrations at Hotel Talisa

April 21, 11 a.m., Hotel Talisa, Vail

Head over to the Gore Creek adjacent Hotel Talisa on Easter Sunday for photos with the Easter Bunny himself (11 a.m. to 1 p.m., complimentary) in the hotel's Fireside Lounge, and for an Easter egg hunt (11:15 a.m.), with a special prize awaiting for anyone who finds an egg containing a golden ticket.
