Eagle Flight Days

June 28, 4 to 8 p.m., Eagle Town Park, Eagle

The town of Eagle is marking history (specifically the date that the county seat was moved from Red Cliff to Eagle in 1922) with a weekend-long celebration featuring live music, games, a push cart race and a parade. The event's carnival opens Friday (4 p.m.), with a pet show and live music set to keep the party going til dusk. (eagleoutside.com).

Friday Afternoon Club at Beaver Creek Village

Beaver Creek Village is kicking off a summer full of FAC (that's "Friday Afternoon Club") with live music, drinks and small plates from local restaurants (beavercreek.com).

Bravo! Vail

June 28, 6 p.m., Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Vail

Friday night is opening night for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, with artistic director Anne-Marie McDermott joining the ensemble to perform Beethoven (tickets starting at $39 for lawn seats). bravovail.org

Cirque Goes to Hollywood
