Dr. Wade Ceola is board certified in neurological surgery. He trained at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and practiced for 14 years at the Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute.

He has a particular interest in spine deformity and correction. He has done significant research into motion preservation, including disc replacement. Working in conjunction with medical device manufacturers and other surgeons, Dr. Ceola was involved in bringing the first cervical artificial disc to FDA approval on July 16, 2007.

Dr. Ceola has also been involved with studies that include spinal joint replacement and spinal cord injury.
