WHAT MAKES YOUR SHOP UNIQUE TO THE VAIL VALLEY?

Squash Blossom has been part of the Vail community and a cornerstone of Vail Village since 1973. Our storefront can be spotted in vintage photos of the village as sure as the snow-tipped peaks of the Gore Range. We always offer unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry from extraordinary local and international artists. Above all, we provide our customers the highest level of service. Everyone on our team has grown up with an admiration for the arts in our blood and a sense of adventure in our minds … which probably led us to the cobblestone streets of Vail. We love telling our patrons the story behind each exceptional piece of jewelry or art that catches their eye.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SHOP’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ITS CUSTOMERS?

We are a family business. When patrons walk into our store, it’s as if they are in our home. We welcome everyone with open arms and create a comforting, informative, and hopefully memorable experience. In order to really complete the homey feeling, during the pandemic, we installed a full bar and mounted a flatscreen TV so that we can enjoy a sports broadcast. Cheers!

WHAT IS YOUR INVOLVEMENT WITH THE VAIL COMMUNITY?

Our core value is community. We believe it is important to give back to those around us and support those in need. We created the “Hope Bracelet” campaign at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Every bracelet sold contributes to our local “Community Fund” (eaglevalleycf.org/the-community-market) that provides food to families in need. In addition, we donate goods, volunteer time, and participate in local organizations that promote the well-being and advancement of this special place we call home.

DO YOU OFFER SPECIAL EXPERIENCES?

Certainly. In addition to the atypical extracurricular activities, we pride ourselves on introducing sensational artists and items you will likely not see in other boutiques around the world. We are all about the “special experience.” If we’re not presenting something special to a guest of the store, then we’re educating them on how to make their visit to the Vail Valley the most special. We carry unique artists from around the world: Todd Reed, Gurhan, Alex Sepkus, Graziela, Single Stone, Irene Neuwirth, and many more.
