The Power of Words

A Transformative Experience of Affirmation, Inspiration and Motivation.

Presented by AIM Gallery June 5, 2024

Just opened in the scenic town of Vail, the AIM Gallery is a celebration of the profound power of words, envisioned and brought to life by Dr. Mike Mycoskie. This gallery, unlike any other, is founded on the principles of affirmations, inspiration, and motivation—elements that Mike and his wife Pam have woven through their own lives and now seek to share with others.

Dr. Mycoskie and his wife reside in Beaver Creek with their three dogs. They have created a space for community and visitors where language transforms into visual art, engaging and inspiring people from all walks of life.

Each one-of-a-kind painting featured in the AIM Gallery invites reflection and interaction, encouraging visitors to consider how the words they surround themselves with influence their daily lives and choices. From vibrant canvases to thoughtful installations, the gallery’s collection is both a visual feast and a mental catalyst.

The AIM Gallery does not just display art; it fosters a fun and interactive environment of creativity and inspiration. It is a place where art meets action and where visitors leave feeling uplifted and empowered by the messages woven into each piece. Join us this summer at the AIM Gallery in Vail and experience the transformative power of words in an entirely new way.

The AIM Gallery:

Dr. Mike Mycoskie’s Journey from Healing Bodies to Inspiring Minds.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Vail, the AIM Gallery stands as a testament to the enduring power of words and the profound impact they can have on our lives. Founded by Dr. Mike Mycoskie, this unique space reflects a lifetime dedicated not only to healing bodies but also to nurturing minds through the art of language.

Mike left Texas with Pam, his best friend and wife of 54 years, an entrepreneur and highly acclaimed cookbook author. Together, they found sanctuary in Beaver Creek, where they reside with their three dogs. The transition from renowned orthopedic surgeon to a visionary creator of word art sparked encouragement from Mike’s wife and children. Every one-of-a-kind creation of affirmations, inspiration and motivation represents the power of words. The AIM Gallery pays homage to the transformative influence of supportive words—a legacy the Mycoskies cultivated from their family life into a broader communal ethos.

Mike and Pam’s children, Blake, Paige, and Tyler, demonstrated at young ages that words are powerful through a simple practice that led to extraordinary outcomes and became an important part of the Mycoskie family legacy. They began leaving motivational notes, often for themselves on Post-its around their home. Each note planted a seed for growth and self-belief. These small but mighty words helped shape their children into successful adults, each embodying their parents’ ethos of positivity in their professional endeavors.

Blake Mycoskie, a philanthropist and author, founded TOMS Shoes and initiated the One for One movement. Paige Mycoskie, an artist and fashion designer, created Aviator Nation, a fast-growing lifestyle brand. Tyler Mycoskie, an entrepreneur and avid golfer, founded Dollar Driver Club, revolutionizing how golfers acquire drivers.

Today, these messages of positivity have not only propelled their children to success but have also been passed down to a new generation of five grandchildren, continuing a familial tradition of inspiring through words. The AIM Gallery embodies this spirit, serving as a fun and vibrant hub where visitors can experience the uplifting power of words crafted into art.

Mike’s creations are more than visual statements; they are conversation starters, designed to inspire and challenge visitors to reflect on the impact of their own words. Each piece in the gallery—whether a large canvas or a smaller, intricate work—encourages positive thinking and joy, aligning with the Mycoskie family philosophy that surrounding oneself with positivity can profoundly shape one’s reality.

The presence of the AIM Gallery in Vail enriches the cultural landscape of the town, adding a new dimension to its artistic community. It’s a place where words transcend their usual boundaries, turning into visual narratives that resonate with people from all walks of life. As Dr. Mycoskie continues to draw inspiration from the beauty of Vail and the strength of the human spirit, his gallery is a beacon of hope and creativity, inviting everyone to explore the power of words and the impact they can make in the world. It is a place where art meets action and where visitors leave feeling uplifted and empowered by the messages woven into each piece.
