Fish'n Chicks

March 16, 1 to 5 p.m., Vail Valley Anglers, Edwards

Calling all ladies! The valley's go-to spot for everything fly fishing is holding a beginner-friendly course, with equipment and fishing license provided.

Portillo Après Party

March 16, 3:30 to 5 p.m., The Arrabelle, Lionshead Village

Ever dreamed of skiing in the summer? Head to the Arrabelle's après-ski party to try and make those dreams a reality, as representatives from Chile's Ski Portillo will be in house handing out cocktails, and a chance to win a trip for two to the Southern Hemisphere resort.

Thompson Square at the Vilar

March 16, 7:30 p.m., The Vilar Performing Arts Center, Beaver Creek

Internationally renowned country music duo Thompson Square headline at Beaver Creek's premier stage ($58).

CHALI 2NA and the House of Vibe

March 16, 9:30 p.m., Agave Nightclub, Avon

Upbeat hip-hop vibes come to Avon's spot for late-night tunes, carrying the party into the wee hours of the night ($15-$18).


Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle Race

March 17, 4 p.m., Vail Nordic Center, Vail

The 7th annual Shamrock Shuffle is coming to the Vail Nordic course, with 5k and 10k races, and a 1k kids' fun run for attendees ($15 to $35). Don't forget to wear green!

Coral Creek at Vail Brewing Company

March 17, 6 p.m., Vail Brewing Company, Eagle-Vail

Americana-bluegrass rockers Coral Creek take over VBC's Eagle-Vail taproom for one night and one night only.

The Dead & The Doors by RMGDR and Bonfire Dub

March 17, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., Vail Ale House, West Vail

Get down with local band Bonfire Dub and Grateful Dead cover band Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue as they serenade the crowd with a Doors tribute for St. Patty's Day.


Hygge Life Pop-Up Dinner

March 18, 7 to 10 p.m., The Rose, Edwards

The Danish hygge (pronounced hoo-ga) movement comes to the Vail Valley, with local retailer Hygge Life joining forces with The Rose for a five-course ode to coziness -- and delicious food ($143 per person).
