As the Vail Valley’s only full-time, board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Ehrlich is able to provide patients comprehensive eye care, from basic exams and screenings to the most advanced surgical procedures. Following training at Wills Eye Hospital and Fellowship at UCLA’s renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute, he served as an FDA surgeon involved in the approval of one of the top cataract replacement lenses in use today. 

With over 16,000 cataract surgeries performed, he is the region’s top cataract surgery specialist, using the most current laser measurement and replacement technologies. He is also the region’s only provider of the new Lipiflow treatment for chronic “dry eye”, a condition commonly found in the high country. Dr. Ehrlich has offices in Eagle and Glenwood Springs.
