With both Beaver Creek and Vail opening on November 25, we're stoked to make first tracks on the mountains, and we’re even more excited for the return of après ski. To kick off your season in style, we've found five after-ski deals, from $3 tacos at Beaver Creek standout The Metropolitan to drink specials at Vail Village favorite Vendetta’s.
Beaver Creek
Happy hour rocks all day long during opening day, with $3 Coors, $4 Bonfire cans, $5 wells, $5 house wines, $5 Prosecco, $3 tacos, $4 potstickers, and $7 Aguacate Picado (fresh made to order guacamole).
The Coyote serves up a nacho and pitchers of beer special ($21.99) on day one of the Beav’s season. Not into beer? Then dip into the two margaritas and chips with salsa deal ($21.99). Not hungry? $5 wells, discounted draft beer and wine will quench your end-of-the-day thirst.
Stop by the Chophouse for lunch on Beaver Creek’s opening day and score 30% off your meal. Need somewhere to go after you après? All entrees on the dinner menu (excluding steaks) are also 30% off, with select bottles of wine at half price.
Vail Village/Lionshead
Garf’s serves up $8 fish and chips starting at 5 p.m., which should tide you over until 10 p.m. when their $4 you-call-it special starts.
You won’t be able to ski down to one of our favorite Vail Village pizza joints as there still isn’t enough snow for that, but jump on the town free bus and head up Bridge Street to Vendetta’s for opening day drink specials. They're not saying what these will be - yet - but expect sweet prices on select beer, wine, and cocktails.
