The Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation supports members of the local community in times of need, from catastrophes, illness or injury. Established in 1996, the VBR Foundation helps promote the community efforts of the Vail Board of REALTORS®. 

Its mission is to assist the community and association members with need- based financial assistance, not-for-profit support, education and disaster relief.

2018 marked the first year of the VBR Foundation’s scholarship program with five Eagle County applicants receiving $2,000 each in assistance. It also participated in the Playhouse Project in Avon, a unique event with eight playhouses auctioned off to support charities, including the VBR Foundation.

The Foundation board strategizes on how best to support both members in need, and those of the general public. REALTOR® members participate in many philanthropic efforts, from Habitat for Humanity Build Days to Salvation Army Empty Bowls to government and municipal service and numerous other group and individual volunteer activities.
