Mountain Valley Developmental Services supports adults and children in Eagle, Lake, Garfield and Pitkin counties with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Our work provides life span services for these individuals, their parents and family members, guardians, colleagues at work, neighbors and friends to promote independence, quality of life, and rights protection.  Today, approximately 90 adults live in our twenty residential facilities stretching from Glenwood Springs to Carbondale, and along the Interstate 70 corridor from Rulison to Minturn, and Leadville.  Mountain Valley serves about 180 adults each year, and around 350 children ages birth to 3 years old.
