What’s new at Eye Pieces of Vail?

With over 35 years in the optical industry in the Vail Valley, we are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our offerings at our newest store: Eye Pieces Sport. Located in the heart of Vail Village in the Sonnenalp Hotel of Vail, Eye Pieces Sport will provide a wide assortment of active eyewear that is as dynamic and adventurous as its customers.

What products and services will Eye Pieces Sport be offering?

Our newest location will cater to customers looking for performance-focused eyewear, goggles, helmets, and accessories for your day on the hill. As pioneers in the prescription goggle, we also have solutions for skiers and riders with less than perfect vision. With our state-of-the-art, prescription lens lab, we can fit you with customizable prescription lenses in a variety of goggles or glasses ideal for your favorite outdoor activity.

How would you describe your shop’s relationship with its customers?

Our stores are lucky enough to have some of the best customers in the world. Everyone on the Eye Pieces team strives to make your visit into one of our locations a great experience. We have been working with locals since 1984 and love seeing repeat families from out of town coming through the door. Our customers trust our expertise with how they see and are seen.

What brands will you be carrying?

Our sunglasses and goggle selection will range in a variety of prices and styles. Our goggle selection will include Oakley, Smith, Anon, Sweet Protection, Atomic, and Yniq. Eye Pieces Sport will curate classic performance brands such as Vuarnet, Oakley, Adidas, Maui Jim, and Costa Del Mar. We will also be introducing some brand-new lines that redefine sport and active eyewear technology.

What technology is your team most excited about for the upcoming winter season?

Our team is thrilled to introduce the latest technology for prescription goggles. This year we have partnered with SKX system to bring ophthalmic lenses that are integrated into the single-lens shields to provide corrective optics. This optimized performance goggle is compatible with Atomic and POC models available at all of our stores.
