Tell Us About Foods of Vail

Foods of Vail was born from a passion for creating premium, memorable food experiences—initially aimed at elevating local events. Established in 1981 as a catering company, we’ve spent over 40 years adapting to the evolving tastes and needs of our vibrant mountain community. As the community called for meals beyond events, we launched our Gourmet Shop in Avon, offering a range of healthy, premium meals designed to be enjoyed from the comfort of home. Our “Take and Bake” seasonal dishes, homemade soups, breakfast items, and appetizers quickly became customer favorites, perfect for pick-up or delivery.

Our valley’s active residents expressed a need for a place to get hot, on-the-go, and healthy meal options. We responded with an expanded deli offering daily soups, hot sandwiches, and a variety of salads. The deli then became a go-to destination for those on the move on the way to ski, hike, and play pickleball. And while our offerings have grown, we continue to cater to weddings, parties, open houses, and more, providing exceptional food and service for every occasion.

Our off-premise catering service is designed to bring chef-curated, creative menus to your special events, tailored to make each occasion unique. Whether you’re hosting in the intimacy of your home, planning a corporate event, or celebrating a wedding, our experienced team ensures a flawless experience with meticulous wait staff, skilled bartenders, and accomplished chefs. We take care of every detail—from china and glassware rentals to exquisite linens and tenting—ensuring that your event runs smoothly and elegantly.

For more casual gatherings, our Gourmet Shop offers a wide selection of party platters, heat-and-serve dinners, and flavorful appetizers, perfect for any occasion. Stop by for a freshly made lunch, or stock up on our homemade favorites for a hassle-free meal.
